Ups and Downs Street Meet 2018

Calgary Italian Bakery was honoured to once again be involved in the Ups and Downs 2018 Street Meet event. Street Meet is Ups and Downs annual 3km Walk-a-Thon Fundraiser at Pearce Estate Park Inglewood. The event aims to raise funds to support families and persons with Down syndrome.

In 2017 the organization saw a 36% increase in family memberships. With this increased membership came larger operational costs for the organization.

Ups and Downs works to provide opportunity for the families of people with Down Syndrome to come together on a regular basis to share experiences and exchange information. They also advocate on behalf of people with Down Syndrome for their rights as individuals.
