Needless to say, this past year and a half has dealt its share of challenges for Calgarians from all walks of life, all across the city and therefore we count it a blessing to be able to continue sharing in this important fundraising drive. We love Calgary. We love the people. And we love what we do!

CIBL is proud to proud to provide baking for this event organized by Foothills Nordic Ski Club!

2019 marks the 20th year of collaboration between Calgary Italian Bakery and the Calgary Food Bank. For the last four years, we have taken part in the Stuff a Bus event with Calgary Co-op and Calgary Transit by donating 4000 loaves of bread to date in support of the Calgary Food Bank. Every year, our bread, along with additional Food Bank donations, fill Calgary Transit buses around the city.

CIBL is doing a variety of demos in Calgary Co-op locations throughout the summer.

St. Augustine Fine Arts School holds a special place in the hearts of CIBL. The school just celebrated 60 years of teaching and learning this past week!

Calgary Italian Bakery is proud to announce its newest line of breads, Famiglia! Following the passing of our Founder, Luigi Bontorin, we knew we wanted to do something to pay tribute and continue the legacy left by him and his wife, Myrl. They believed that breads should be made with simple, local ingredients and that’s exactly what we’ve done.

At Calgary Italian Bakery we always enjoy the Christmas season as it provides us with a time to reflect on the past year as well as to make plans for the future. For us the holiday season has always been a time to show appreciation for family and friends, and to count our blessings.

Being one of the largest single day fundraisers for the Calgary Food Bank, we are proud to be an ongoing sponsor for the Stuff A Bus event.
